Here are only some of the things I discovered about Bangkok when I went there last December:
• vehicles are right hand drive• “tuktuk”, which they also considered as taxi, got its name from the sound of its engine
• there are 2 classifications of taxi: (1) company-owned, which is one-colored (any color); and (2) personal taxi, which has green and yellow colors painted horizontally• Thais have a very high regard to their king
• Baht (bills) have different sizes according to its amount• Bangkok city has the longest local name
• Bangkok’s national tree is tamarind and their national animal is elephant• Thai food is extremely spicy
